Czech Floorball represents the national floorball association in the Czech Republic and is a member of the International Floorball Federation (IFF). With more than 70,000 registered members, floorball is a sport with the second largest membership base (after soccer) in the Czech Republic.
The basic design of the brand is based on the motif of the Czech national symbol, the lion, which by its stylization refers to the mask of the goalkeeper and the blade of the floorball stick. The head of the lioness was designed especially for the women's extraleague; as the equivalent of the lion for the men's extraleague. Together, a variable system of several brands was created, which despite its diversity and various functions had a uniformed visual appearance; floorball together with other elements of visual style present a proud and progressive sport.
The project was awarded the silver prize at the Creative Awards 2016 by the Art Directors Club Czech Republic and was voted third by the public in the category of Best Noted 2015 by Brand New, the highly respected website for brand identity and corporate design.
Role in the project: co-author, creative director, design supervisor, graphic designer.
